The Eagles scored eight touchdowns, seven of them on plays 35 yards or longer. The Class A No. 6 Eagles did all this with their top three wideouts missing from the lineup and didn’t seem to miss a beat as they picked up the win 56-13...

Larry Max Jones, 88, of Roachdale, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, 2023, at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. He was born on Nov. 5, 1934, in Jeffersonville to Marvel Ruth (Dean) and Jesse Franklin Jones. He and the family, including older sister Joan, moved to the Roachdale area after the Ohio River flood of 1937...
