Deer Meadow closed Wednesday due to power outage

A power outage has forced the closure of Deer Meadow Primary School on Wednesday. Supt. Jeff Gibboney notified Deer Meadow parents shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday in an email that was also shared with the Banner Graphic. “We regret to inform you that Deer Meadow Primary school will be closed today due to a sudden power outage,” Gibboney wrote. “As a result, we are unable to ensure the safety and comfort of our students and staff.”...

The deadline is quickly approaching for primary election candidates to submit free biographies to be printed free of charge in the Banner Graphic. Monday, April 8 is the final day to submit an article and photograph to be printed in advance of the May 7 primary election.
