EMINENCE -- Free throws can make a big difference in high school basketball. On Tuesday night the Eminence Eels scored 27 of their 64 points from the charity stripe as they defeated the South Putnam Eagles 64-56 in a non-conference game. The Eels shot an astounding 33 free throws in the second half, converting 25 of them. The Eagles were whistled for 31 fouls on the evening and had five players retire to the bench with five personals...

Greencastle High School announces a generous donation from Jedele Enterprises and Greencastle McDonald’s Restaurant to the GHS Athletic Department. McDonald’s joined the list of GHS Athletics “Corporate Partners” recently by making a $5,000 donation to the program...

LINDEN -- Two teams with nearly identical records and similar seasons met on Tuesday night as North Putnam played at North Montgomery. As a result, the fact that the game was tied with 26 seconds left was not a surprise.
