TERRE HAUTE — Keyed by a triple win from Emma Wilson, Greencastle’s girls finished third in the Terre Haute North track and field sectional which started on Tuesday and was finished on Wednesday due to weather. Wilson won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 to provide the Cubs with 30 points, but Greencastle got points from several different places — including speedy freshman Kennedy Trigg — to finish in the top three team-wise behind Terre Haute South and Terre Haute North...

Play begins on Monday in a Class 2A high school softball sectional on Monday, with several changes to the field from last year. The tourney was played at Cascade last year, and was won by South Vermillion. This year, Cascade was sent to Monrovia and Southmont hosts its own sectional. Greencastle moved down from Class 3A due to several teams moving up in the recent enrollment adjustments...

The Greencastle volleyball program will be hosting a camp this summer for any girl entering grades 3-8 this fall from June 4-6. The camp will be run by high school coaches Maggie Walters and Denise Meyer. The junior varsity and varsity volleyball players will also be assisting and coaching...
