Paul Hayden Clodfelter, 93, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Round Rock, Texas, at the home of his daughter. Lawrence Daniel Smith, 87, of Greencastle, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at Asbury Towers. Lawrence was born in Marion County on July 23, 1931, the son of Denton C. and Ethel Ann (Brown) Smith. He was a graduate of Danville High School. Mr. Smith Served proudly in the United States Army for 20 years. He retired as a staff sergeant in 1968. He served 14-1/2 years of overseas duty in Japan, Korea, Panama and Germany...

CLOVERDALE -- During a short meeting Monday evening, the Cloverdale School Board approved reducing Cloverdale Elementary School’s pre-kindergarten programming from a full day to a half day.
