In an unfortunate bit of irony, the water supply for a local water company may be in peril by the very creek whose name it bears. Big Walnut Water President Jeff Mace made an appeal for funding to the Putnam County Commissioners on Monday, as water lines for the company are near to being exposed along the bank of Big Walnut Creek. Mace noted that the situation is “really kind of dire right now.”...

Putnam County Treasurer Kathy Minnick has announced to all county property owners that as of April 11, the 2024 tax statements have been mailed.
