CLOVERDALE -- The bats came to life Thursday night for the Cloverdale baseball team, overcoming a rough outing for starting pitcher Brantson Scott on the way to an 8-6 win over White River Valley. On Tuesday night the Greencastle track and field team took on Northview and Edgwood at home. The Lady Tiger Cubs ran well, taking first place with 76 points and earning first and second place in the 800-meter run by Gracie Smith and Brittany Love. LIZTON -- The South Putnam track team continued its improving, this time with the boys earning a 77-52 win against the Bruins. The Lady Eagles fell 86-42 The Eagle boys saw improvements in many events which contributed to the win.
