Putnam County Jail Adrian Fisher, 19, Fillmore, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:40 a.m. Thursday for public intoxication, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and possessing alcohol as a minor. Richard Thomas Woody, 85, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009. He was born July 15, 1924 to Clark and Lois Long Woody near Thorntown. He was educated at Thorntown schools and attended Purdue University. He was a graduate of the Purdue Ag Winter School. He was active in 4-H and Rural Youth in Boone County...

GREENCASTLE -- Over 75 youth participated in their local city bowling tournament on Dec. 13, 19, 20. These are youth from the ages of 5 to 18 that bowl each Saturday at Alex Alleys in the Youth Leagues. Sixty of them will be going to Indianapolis in February to participate in the State Tournament...

CLOVERDALE -- Two suspects who broke into Cloverdale Drugs on Nov. 11 are still at large. Store personnel turned over surveillance tapes recorded during the break-in to the Cloverdale Police Department. While the images of one of the suspects were relatively clear, only a partial view of the other was recorded...
